Royal Dornoch Golf Club, located in the Scottish Highlands, is one of the world’s most revered links which has records of play going back to 1616. Extended to 18 holes by the 1st superstar of golf Old Tom Morris in 1888, it features natural dunes, undulating fairways and large, subtly contoured greens that rewards solid ball striking. Set against the rugged Dornoch Firth coastline, the course combines panoramic Highland scenery with a stern but fair test of golf. Having hosted multiple prestigious amateur championships, it was a true highlight of my golfing life to stay and play as the locals are so very welcoming
