Royal County Down

Royal County Down is one of the world’s most celebrated links and has been recognized as World #1 several times. Founded in 1889 and shaped over time by designers like Old Tom Morris and Harry Colt it sits under the watchful eye of the Mourne Mountains and overlooks the shores of Dundrum Bay. It’s famous for rugged dunes, narrow gorse-lined fairways and bearded bunkers that make the course both beautiful and notoriously challenging.
