Rosses Point / County Sligo Golf Club is a storied championship links course perched on the Wild Atlantic Way in the northwest. Originally founded in 1894 with fingerprints from the legendary Harry Colt & Pat Ruddy and most recently Martin Ebert, the layout takes full advantage of the natural terrain. The setting is stunning, with the Atlantic on one side and Benbulbin on the other, it is also home to the West of Ireland Amateur Open. It’s my favourite Old-World Clubhouse in Ireland as you can go from the bar to the 1st tee in only a few steps, Guinness in hand! I’ve never seen rain in Rosses…lets hope that continues!
