Kananaskis Country Golf Course – Mount Kidd & Mount Lorette

Kananaskis is home to not just one but two great courses and it opened for play in 1983. Mount Lorette starts out easy on the eye, but if you’re not accurate with your first tee shot the best thing about the hole will be the view. Nestled in the Rockies, the course is carved through rock, trees and rivers with occasional wildlife encounters. Every hole offers amazing scenery and it will test all skill levels. As the courses are so close to the mountains, watch your ball take off as it climbs into the backdrop of the mountain. A real treat to play!

Mount Kidd, well what other words describe it better then awesome, outstanding & stunning! While both courses were destroyed after floods in 2013, Calgary golf architect, Gary Browning, is tasked with the restoration of Kananaskis. “For me, this is the Super Bowl”! …. He must have meant All Ireland Hurling Final as there is a few lucky Irish charms under the famous Kananaskis boulders!!
