Carnoustie Golf Links is one of the world’s most challenging and recognizable courses. Established in 1839 with some of the games greatest names attached to its design, Allen Robertson, Old Tom Morris and James Braid all help contribute to its title as golf’s greatest test. It has hosted The Open Championship multiple times and possibly some of its most memorable finishes with Paul Lawrie winning in 1999 (vs Jean van de Velde) and Padraig Harrington in 2007. It’s the 1st Scottish course I played, and a sleepless night of excitement followed…regardless of the score, it was pure class!
