Canmore Golf & Curling Club

With a humble and modest inception, golf in Canmore was formed by a small group of locals comprised of coal miners, businessmen and sport enthusiasts in 1926. The original course consisted of 9 holes of average quality with sand greens and coffee cans for holes. Expansion to 18 holes followed in the early 60’s which also brought a curling rink. If you ever had the urge to stroll through the mountains with 14 clubs in a bag, Canmore ticks that box! While it doesn’t have the extremes in elevation compared to its local counterparts, it brings to the table its own class and memorable holes.
