Stanley Thompson carved out this iconic gem which opened for play in 1925. For every golfer that says Banff is my favourite Thompson course, there’s another who says “perhaps…but Jasper is mine!!”. How can you not fall in love with a Par 3 called “Cleopatra” or feel the natural aura of the Par 5 2^nd “OldMan”. As you drive into JPL, hopefully you get a warm welcome from the wildlife. Continuously voted Canada’s #1 Resort Course and so good, you should play it twice, it is another 3.5 hrs each way😊
